The blue art installation above the entrance to TRAC is a light box designed to look like waves glistening in the light. Just another touch that makes TRAC even that bit more special.
SHUTTERS THAT ENCLOSE THE POOL - MAGIC!

TRAC has been designed with everything thought of. The warm water pool is mainly to be used for swimming lessons but it can be hired for private functions and is avaliable for Women Only Swim Night Wednesdays 8pm - 9.30pm. With the press of the buttom shutters come down completly enclosing the pool so the swimmers can not be seen from any other area of the Centre or from outside. Simply magic!

The Program Gym has been designed to provide a space to cater for: Teen Only: Monday and Wednesday 3.30-5.30pm, Tuesday 6am - 8am, Saturday: 10am - 1pm Women Only: Monday and Wednesday 12-3pm, Tuesday 8-12noon, Thursday 6-9pm and Sunday 10am- 1pm Living Longer Living Stronger: Monday and Thursday 10am - 12noon. In between these times it can be used as a Personal Training Studio.

LEARN TO SWIM SPACES FILLING FAST

Come on in to the TRAC show room and meet the new Learn to Swim Supervisor Jo. She has started taking enrolments and spaces for Term 4 are filling really fast. Lessons start from 6 months of age right through to private lessons for adults. All lessons follow the Royal Life Swim and Survive Program and are taught by qualified instructors from either the play pool, learn to swim warm water pool or the 25 metre pool.
TECHNOGYM EQUIPMENT FULLY INSTALLED

The fit out of both the Health Club and the Program Gym with the very best cardio and strength equipment is complete. As a member you receive a wellness key that has your fitness program loaded on to it by a TRAC instructor. You plug this key into each piece of equipment and it will guide you through the exercises you need to do and the intensity you need to do them at. After 6 weeks when you have a program update with your TRAC instructor all your work outs are stored and your progress can easily be tracked on the computer. How cool is that for achieving results!
STADIUM IS SPARKLING AND READY TO GO

The multi use stadium area is all complete. This space can be used for casual sport or be hired for sports clubs, functions and events. It will be fitted out with a rock climbing wall and a mega range of Jim Bradley boxing equipment for boxing fitness classes, bootcamps and personal training.
GROUP FITNESS AND CYCLE ROOM ARE COMPLETE

Over 50 group fitness classes will be pumping at TRAC every week. Body Pump, Body Combat, Cycle, Body Attack, Zumba, Body Balance, Body Step, Aqua Aerobics, Deep Water Running, Yoga and more... The brand new Technogym cycles have been installed into the cycle room with two LCD screens to be installed soon either side of the cycle instructor to create the ultimate cycle experience.

Multiple locker bays have been installed through out the Centre just like the one pictured. Members will be able to open the lockers with their new RFID technology wrist band membership cards.
ART WORK GOES UP AT TRAC

Local artists have created vibrant and beautiful pieces of art work to enhance TRAC. Each piece has been installed this week and the mural has started to be painted in the program gym.
NEW HEALTH CLUB EQUIPMENT ARRIVES AT TRAC

The first of the new "Technogm" equipment for our brand new health club is now in the process of being installed. When complete, there will be over 80 pieces of cardio (bikes, treadmills etc) and weights equipment covering the main health club and the smaller 'programs gym'. This photo shows some of the weights equipment being pieced together by the Technogym staff.

The building contractors hand TRAC over to Council within the next week. This means that the building works are complete and the fit out with equipment, building of joinery and putting all those WOW interior design features in can start.

Water in the Pools!

The new TRAC reached a major milestone early this week when for the first time in almost 2 years the pools were filled up with water! The photo on the left shows our brand new 8 lane, 25 m pool. Liz Cann has been appointed as the new Centre Manager of TRAC. Liz has worked with Belgravia Leisure for over 3 years, most recently in the role of Centre Manager of the Melton Waves Leisure Centre. Belgravia Leisure Awarded Management of TRAC

The City of Whittlesea recently appointed Belgravia Leisure as the Manager of the new TRAC facility. Belgravia Leisure has a long history of successful facility management and currently manages over 70 of Australia's premier leisure facilities. Belgravia Leisure had previously been managing the 'old' TRAC facility prior to its closure for renovations in 2008.
