Facilities / TRAC Pools

Pools used to be rectangular and pretty much kids could make their own fun and adults could swim laps. Boring! TRAC’s 5 pools and outdoor splash park are nothing like this. Choose a pool that suits your needs... rehab, entertainment for the kids, lap lane swimming or relaxation.

TRAC Pools

TRAC has 5 pools and an outdoor splash park. All pools are accessible by either a ramp or hoist access. All pools are heated and the pool hall is a comfortable 27 degrees all year round. It’s always summer inside TRAC!

-          The hydrotherapy pool is heated to 34 degrees and is the biggest in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. It can be used for exercise rehabilitation or gentle lap lane swimming.

-          The 25 metre pool is heated to 27 degrees and has slow, medium and fast lanes available for public lap lane swimming. (Please note that at peak times the 25 metre pool may have to be shared with the Aqua Jets Swim club or swimming lessons)

-          The spa is heated to 36 degrees and is the largest in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. A great place to relax and catch up with mates.

-          The warm water pool is heated to 34 degrees and is primarily used for swimming lessons and women only swim nights. If it is not being used for these activities it is the ideal pool for the 6-12 year old age group.

-          The kiddies pool is heated to 32 degrees and is either zero depth with fun water features or 0.5metre depth for a responsible adult to be in the water with their little one. TRAC is proudly a Watch Around Water endorsed facility.

-          The outdoor splash park is kiddie heaven with zero depth soft play surface (no more scraped knees and stubbed toes!) and loads of water features that shoot water up, spin water around and drop water from above!!

-          The steam room and dry sauna are perfect for chilling in out after a hard day.

TRAC has a number of changing rooms to suit everybody’s needs. The accessible changing rooms are all fitted with overhead hoists and automatic beds. The changing room closest to the hydrotherapy pool also has an overhead hoist that takes you right out to the pools. There are a number of large family change rooms, smaller family change rooms idea for a parent with just one or two children, a school changing room and a main female and male changing room.

Many people choose to come to the TRAC pools and pay casually but if you are attending more than a couple of times a week a membership is your most cost effective option.
